THE couples therapist Cláudya Toledo, who owns a marriage agency, explains that the demand for this type of service has been growing due to the limited opportunity to find a partner in common places.

In the past, people knew each other through a network of friends, in places like churches, school or within the family. But today, with the day-to-day rush and the focus of men and women on their careers, this network diminishes, if not completely disappeared.

The expert says that women have reached a level where they seek independence through a stable career and the power of money. Afterwards, psychological assessments are carried out and documents are presented that prove the data provided by the candidate (education, address, income, etc.). Finally, a photo session is held.

With this data in hand, the agency’s team will diagnose and outline a profile for the candidate and present what the work with him will be like. “When the person is very expansive, for example, we can suggest group meetings, in workshops, or cross data and indicate meetings alone. But the candidate will always count on the evaluation and proposal of the agency’s staff. He doesn’t find his partner alone,” he explains.

Cláudya also says that 93% of the candidates have a university degree, 60% are women and 40% are men, and the candidates’ ages range from 25 to 60 years. Most of them are workaholics (workaholics) and they all want to experience great love in a stable relationship. “When we are looking for a great love it is important to define a profile of what we are looking for and go out there.
