I am writing to you to make a wish and, at the same time, thank you immensely for being so happy. Contrary to what they usually say in silent prayers, I want to thank you for everything I’ve faced in my life so far.
Thank you for all my setbacks, obstacles, tears, weaknesses and defeats. Thank you for false friends, shallow loves, disappointments and frustrations. I want to thank you for breaking my heart so many times, even with the small reasons. For all the pain.
I want to thank you for all the games that it took me a while to understand and accept. For all the times I didn’t believe in my ability, that I hit a wall and burned my hand in a fire for someone. I want to thank you for making me stronger, especially in the most fragile moments.

For all the goodbyes that took some of my love, but now I see that I was wrong. This feeling is not negative as I imagined it to be. People just show themselves what, in fact, they are. And I learned that this is beyond the control of my goodwill and concern for the other.
Reciprocity is the way of good. So, if I can ask you one thing, it would be this: keep my faith unshakable, as well as my beliefs, principles, values and dreams.
Thank you, finally, is for what is gone and for everything that is yet to come. Thank you for lifting me up in all difficulties, and for continuing to show me the path of light, even when I feel immersed in darkness. Gratitude!
