We all like simple and humble people who don’t think they are better than anyone else. These people flee from the false humility of “I do everything better”, from pride and inordinate selfishness. They, better than anyone, realize that the arrogance of people with an air of superiority is as unbearable as it is despicable.
Also, speaking arrogantly and bragging too often often reflects some sort of lack, emptiness, or dissatisfaction with one’s life. It is a case to say that these attitudes are typical of someone who makes “much ado about nothing”.
Often the more empty someone is inside, the more noise they make. When we see a person talking too much, interrupting everyone’s conversation, being hasty or violent, bragging about what they have, feeling arrogant and putting other people down, it can be a sign of someone empty. “Tell me what you brag about and I’ll tell you what you miss.”
SEE ALSO: DON’T UNDERESTIMATE HER STRENGTH
Humility is knowing how to silence our strengths and allow others to discover them. No one is more empty than he who is full of himself.
Simple, humble people are the best because they have no need to compete or be right. They don’t need to pretend or lie, because who they are is shown in their actions, in their posture and in their balance.
But there are people who, unfortunately, are so empty that they feed on bragging and bragging, they are so empty that they desperately seek approval through their empty words.
When we achieve something very important to ourselves, it is normal and customary to show pride, however, there is a big difference between pride in the effort to have achieved a goal and arrogance.
Nothing we can achieve makes us worthy of praise or superior to others. Only kindness and humility help us to elevate ourselves and build supports for our own happiness.
