Other ways to make beans
If you’re one of those who prefer not to take a chance with the pressure cooker, no problem. Check out three recipes below to cook delicious beans using an electric pressure cooker, microwave or just your regular pot!
Beans in the crockpot
In the electric pressure cooker, just change the order: first sauté the garlic and only then add the beans, bay leaf and water. Let it cook for fifty minutes and release the pressure. This pan is usually safer, see?
Beans in the microwave
To make the beans in the microwave, it is necessary to soak them for a longer time, preferably overnight. Then, just follow the same steps, add water to the container and season to taste. Cook for twenty to thirty minutes and voilà!
Beans without pressure cooker
If you don’t have a pressure cooker, the tip is to soak the beans from the night before. And then, just season it to taste and let it cook on medium heat for thirty minutes, leaving the pan half covered.
