  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Water
  • Oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic

How to make

  1. Place the beans in a container with water;
  2. Squeeze half a lemon or add a spoonful of vinegar;
  3. Soak the beans for an hour;
  4. Drain the water and place the beans in the pressure cooker;
  5. Add water to the pan until covering the beans and passing two fingers through;
  6. Add 1/2 chopped onion, two bay leaves and a drizzle of oil;
  7. Let it cook for ten minutes;
  8. In a skillet, sauté the minced garlic;
  9. Place the sautéed garlic in the bean pan;
  10. Season with salt to taste and cook for another two minutes.

If the broth is thin, mash a portion of beans and put it back in the pan to thicken. To serve, you can place in small bowls or plates and decorate with fried pork rinds or parsley. Imagine what a delight!
