A ranking made annually by the My Pregnancy and My Baby Today app clearly shows the trend. Influential celebrity baby names often gain traction on the lists of the 100 most popular girl names and 100 boy names in Brazil.

To create the lists, BabyCenter, the company that owns the application, counts the names of babies spontaneously informed by the user mothers (it is not mandatory to say what the child’s name is to use the program). Some of the results are quite revealing.

O awesome.club was curious to know which celebrities most influence the decision of moms and dads when choosing the names of their children. And it shares with you some of the strongest trends highlighted in the last ranking.

Boy names ending in “el”
