Usually, guipir blouses don’t have a lining, so consultant Danyla advises: “For women who don’t like to show their skin too much, it’s best to wear a second skin in the same color or close to the lace blouse. For women who prefer to show their skin, just wear a plain bra, without details or a shorter second skin also in the same color as the blouse”.

In the composition of more elegant looks, which can be used at night events, such as a dinner, for example, Danyla adds: “A good bet are monochromatic pieces, more neutral and light colors, pencil skirts, tailored pants, darker jeans and straight. Accessories can come in earrings or bracelets, it is best to avoid wearing very flashy necklaces to make the look more harmonious”.

Skirts, especially if made of guipir, are pieces that can be the protagonists of any look, and at the same time be used in summer looks and adapted for winter looks, if combined with tights. These factors undoubtedly make investing in a guipir lace skirt very advantageous.

To take some of the formality out of the piece, Danyla suggests combinations: “Skirts can be combined with t-shirts, denim shirts, sweatshirts or leather jackets. The best thing is always to mix styles, because as the skirt already has this romantic and sexy touch, it is best to mix it with other styles, such as rocker, sport or sophisticated, always observing if there is a conversation between the pieces and accessories, in the colors, textures and trims”.

As for the proportions that guipir lace can cause on the body, Danyla indicates: “Light colors can make the hips and butt area look bigger. So the trick is to think of darker colors, always use a third piece, to elongate the silhouette and thin the upper body”.

Dresses with a casual touch are characterized by being short, and are often loose and have short sleeves. However, this piece can often be adapted for a more formal look, depending on the choice of shoes and accessories that will be inserted into the look.

The consultant gives tips on how to assemble looks allowing the piece to be used more often: “Dresses can be composed with belts, vests, jackets and coats, as the silhouette will be elongated and the dress will be more versatile. Inserting pieces and accessories makes it possible to wear the dresses more often and on different occasions.”

The same piece, the guipir dress, allows the creation of different styles, as Danyla exemplifies: “Rustic accessories such as boots, ankle boots and suede make the look more casual and with a boho feel. To create the Boyish style, more masculine accessories can be inserted, such as shoes: moccasin, slipper, boots or Oxford. Longer, linen blazers also make the look modern and comfortable.”

Party dresses

Formal events usually inspire more time in the decision of the look, and a possible option for more refined fabrics. The guipir lace certainly provides this more sophisticated effect in dresses. The length of the dress can be below the knee, midi or long, which will guarantee the sophistication of the piece. The length factor will vary depending on the time of the event or the woman’s personality.

“If the accessories are made of pearls, the style will be more romantic, now translucent stones and sparkles have a more festive and glamorous feel”, says Danyla about the composition of the looks and harmonization with the accessories.

It is important to keep in mind that the guipir can give the sensation of increasing the proportions of the body. And given this information, Danyla teaches the tricks to use the guipir lace in her favor: “The trick is to use darker colors or leave the skinniest parts of the body showing or marked, mark the waist to elongate and refine the silhouette, use pieces fairer”.
