Psalm of the day of the week

Sunday: To start the week with protection and optimism, do the Psalm 91which invokes Archangel Michael and all other angels for various purposes:

  1. He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High and rests in the shadow of the Almighty
  2. can say to the Lord: Thou art my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.
  3. He will deliver you from the snare of the hunter and the deadly poison.

  13. You will trample the lion and the snake; will trample the mighty lion and the serpent.
  14. “Because he loves me, I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he knows my name.
  15. He will cry to me, and I will answer him, and in adversity I will be with him; I will free him and cover him with honor.
  16. Long life I will give you, and I will show you my salvation. ”

Monday: At the beginning of the working week we need hope to face what lies ahead. The psalm of the day is the Psalm 23which drives away despair and helps to achieve goals:

  1. The Lord is my shepherd; I will lack nothing.
  2. In green pastures he makes me rest and leads me to still waters;
  3. restores my vigor. Guide me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
  4. Even when I walk through a valley of darkness and death, I will fear no danger, for you are with me; your rod and your staff protect me.
  5. You prepare a feast for me in the sight of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil and making my cup run over.
  6. I know that goodness and faithfulness will accompany me all the days of my life, and I will return to the house of the Lord as long as I live.

Tuesday: O Psalm 121 helps solve financial problems and maintain fairness needed in a work environment.

  1. I lift my eyes to the mountains and ask: Where does my help come from?
  2. My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

  15. Give us joy for the time you afflicted us, for the years we suffered so much.
  16. Let your deeds be manifest to your servants, and your splendor to their children!
  17. May the goodness of our Sovereign God be upon us. Consolidate for us the work of our hands; consolidate the work of our hands!

Thursday: It is common to feel fear of the future, problems and the unknown. O Psalm 27 removes that feeling and distances bad company.

  1. The Lord is my light and my salvation; of whom shall I be afraid? The Lord is my strong refuge; of whom shall I be afraid?
  2. When evil men advance against me to destroy me, they, my enemies and my adversaries, will stumble and fall.
  3. Though an army encamp against me, my heart will not fear; even if war is declared against me, still I will be confident.
  4. One thing I asked of the Lord, and this is what I seek: that I may live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to contemplate the goodness of the Lord and seek his guidance in his temple.
  5. For in the day of adversity he will keep me safe in his dwelling; in his tabernacle he will hide me and make me secure on a rock.
  6. Then I will triumph over the enemies that surround me. In his tabernacle I will offer sacrifices with acclamations; I will sing and praise the Lord.
  7. Hear my voice when I cry, O Lord; have mercy on me and answer me.
  8. My heart says about you, “Seek my face!” Your face, Lord, will I seek.
  9. Do not hide your face from me, do not turn away in anger
    thy servant; you have been my helper. Do not forsake me nor forsake me, O God my savior!
  10. Even if my father and mother abandon me, the Lord will welcome me.
  11. Teach me your way, Lord; lead me in a safe path because of my enemies.
  12. Do not surrender me to the whim of my adversaries, for false witnesses rise up against me, breathing violence.

Friday: The week is coming to an end. It’s a day to go out and have fun, or just relax. O Psalm 66 regulates sleep and removes sadness, preparing the mood for the weekend.

  1. Shout to God, peoples of all the earth!
  2. Sing praises to his glorious name; praise him gloriously!
  3. Say to God: “How fearful are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies creep before you!
  4. The whole earth worships you and sings praises to you, sings praises to your name.” Break
  5. Come and see what God has done; how awesome are his works in behalf of men!
  6. He turned the sea into dry land, and the people crossed the waters on foot; and there we rejoiced in him.
  7. He rules forever by his power, his eyes watch over the nations; let the rebels not rise up against him! Break
  8. Bless our God, O peoples, let the sound of his praise resound;
  9. it was he who preserved our lives by preventing our feet from slipping.
  10. For thou, O God, hast tried us and hast refined us like silver.
  11. You made us fall into a trap, and you laid burdens on our backs.
  12. You let the enemies ride over our heads; we passed through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of plenty.
  13. I will come to your temple with burnt offerings, and I will fulfill my vows to you,
  14. vows that my lips made and my mouth spoke when I was in trouble.
  15. I will offer you fat animals as a burnt offering; I will sacrifice rams, the smoke of which shall ascend to you, and also bulls and goats. Break
  16. Come and hear, all you that fear God; I will tell you what he did for me.
  17. To him I cried with my lips; with my tongue I exalted him.
  18. If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not hear me;
  19. but God heard me, he paid attention to the prayer I addressed to him.
  20. Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer nor withdrawn his love from me!

Saturday: The Psalm of the day helps to escape betrayal and backbiting. To close the cycle of blessings and protections, do the Psalm 40:

  1. I put all my hope in the Lord; he leaned towards me and heard my cry for help.
  2. He took me out of a pit of destruction, out of a quagmire of mud; he set my feet on a rock and steadied me in a safe place.
  3. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see this and fear, and trust in the Lord.

  5. Lord my God! How many wonders have you done! The plans you have prepared for us cannot be recounted! I wanted to proclaim them and announce them, but they are too numerous!
  6. Sacrifice and offering you did not ask, but you opened my ears; burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not require.
  7. So I said: Here I am! In the book it is written about me. I have great joy in doing your will, O my God; your law is in the depths of my heart.
  8. I proclaim the tidings of righteousness in the great assembly; as you know, Lord, I do not close my lips.
  9. I do not hide your righteousness in my heart; I speak of your faithfulness and your salvation. I do not hide your faithfulness and your truth from the great assembly.
  10. Do not deny me your mercy, Lord; may your love and your truth always protect me.
