Complete Pre Wedding Rehearsal Guide: 5 Creative and Essential Tips!

We always advise our bride and groom to perform the rehearsal Pre Wedding.

First, because it is already a stage of your big day, being a phase that generates “butterflies in the stomach” in a light and relaxed way, but without all the rush of the wedding day, and it is also one of the best memories of this phase you are living.

Second, because few people have the habit and have the opportunity to perform a photographic essay at another stage of life isn’t it? In addition, the Pre Wedding is an excellent opportunity to get to know your photographer better and feel more comfortable with him and vice versa.

1- How long before the wedding should we do the rehearsal?

There are no rules and no set time, everything will depend on the purpose of using the photos and your photographer’s schedule. We have already photographed Pre Wedding 6 months before the wedding as well as 2 days before (Whew!)

For our work, we consider ideal the time of 2 months before the wedding at least. This is a suitable time for delivery and smooth selection of photos for printing, use on wedding sites and social networks.

2- Where to do it?

In the next posts we will talk more about the subject, but the choice of location is an important point to be analyzed for the test.

Above all, the chosen location needs to make sense to you, having a relationship with life stories, personal, routine and as well as the particular tastes of each one. After all, there’s no point in a heavenly place that doesn’t suit the couple, right?!

It is also important to observe the climate conditions of the season chosen according to the location, for example: Will there be sunset? It’s winter? Summer?

3- What clothes to go with? how many to take?

As mentioned in topic 2, the clothes have to be according to the chosen location. High heels on the beach? Of course not!

So after deciding on the location it is important to choose clothes that match his style. Wear clothes in which you feel comfortable and feel good! Don’t run away from your style just for photography.

Beware of excesses, such as oversized watches and earrings, hairstyles, excessive makeup, etc.

Remember if: Less is more!

The choice of colors and quantity of parts to exchange are also important. We suggest 2-3 exchanges maximum, and if you are our bride and groomlet’s have a coffee and talk more about it!

4- Should we bring accessories?

The use of accessories such as balloons, plates, flowers, etc., also follow the same line as the previous tips. Does it have anything to do with you? Do we have something of greater emotional and unique value that we want to remember?
