About our connection

One day the time will come when we will finally meet. For once.

I have this very right inside me, like a strong intuition that tells my heart to be calm, because the certainty is great. At the same time, I also don’t deny that this presentiment is a sliver of hope that lives here with me. But, dividing things, I interpret as if it were half of each. Just like that, like pizza.

We’ve lived our moments and we never happened to have a happy ending. It’s just that we’re not like those couples that don’t work out because there’s a problem – between us, left was solution. Because we were the reason for each other’s laughter, the right combination between the two opposites that complete each other, the end of the sentence spoken by another voice.

What happened was a problem of necessary deviations. We understood and followed our paths, each one playing to one side and always living what was placed in front of us. There was never any drama.

It was just the wrong time, the wrong day, priorities reversed and, always like that, situations that intensely disconnected us – in a way that couldn’t be fixed, either then or later. What’s up, people got lost.

But our hands, in an invisible way, keep looking for each other.

And living proof of that is the urgency we feel for each other. Why our connection always continued to exist, just waiting for the right time to be greater than anything. You know how it always worked for us, don’t you? Although she is the size of the world, she never wants to be a leader. And as such, it always lags behind everything else.

But it’s a matter of time. It doesn’t take long now and we know well: one of these days, we will irrevocably release it as high as we can and we will see this connection shine up there, in the middle of everything and everyone.
