7 Secrets Used in the Tricks of Magicians and Illusionists

What is the trick: inside the bag there is an exit, usually a zipper that can be opened from the inside. The helper stops with her feet on the edge of the vault, but the top opens easily. When the person raises the curtain, the magician quickly jumps out of the box, holds the curtain, and the helper enters the room. While the illusionist opens the lock on the safe, the young woman enters the bag and takes off her top clothes, which hides another one, which is underneath. The faster and more coordinated the actions, the more convincing this type of number is.

At first glance, the trick seems quite dangerous, but the person who is ‘fixed’ to the wood is never hurt.

The secret is in fact that the magician does not leave knives in his hands, but makes skilful movements to hide them in a secret pocket. Behind the wooden target is an assistant who, with the help of a special mechanism, shoots the knives from the opposite side. The work is done quickly, so we have the impression that the knife sticks in the wood, and not that it comes out of it.

The woman is placed inside a large box, with areas for head, arms and legs. The magician moves the assistant’s body as if she were able to stretch in a way that humans cannot.

In truth, when the illusionist opens and closes the front and back doors showing that the box is empty, two helpers hide. They enter through the back doors and each of them places an arm or leg in the corresponding opening. So that the public does not notice, all helpers must have their nails done in the same way. The women move their arms and legs around, while the owner of the head seen by the spectator is leaning on a chair.

The magician pours water into a cup, but then pieces of ice fall out instead of liquid water. Of course, this is no case of breaking the laws of physics.

Inside is hidden a simple sponge which absorbs the water, while the ice had already been placed inside the cup. You can do the trick at home, but remember that the cup cannot be transparent.

The illusionist places one or several pigeons inside a box, and when he lifts the lid again, the birds are no longer there.

Do not worry, everything is fine with the animals. The lid has a secret compartment, very small, but that perfectly accommodates the birds.

This number runs outdoors. The magician is placed in a box and buried, but ends up escaping after a few seconds. Not all illusionists take such risks, but if the trick is done correctly, the protagonist is unharmed.

The box has a secret door. through which the magician passes into a kind of previously prepared underground chamber. The place has light and oxygen. With the help of special movable drawers, the illusionist does not get so deep into the hole, holding his breath while removing surface lumps of earth and quickly getting out.
