6 things men love about women

The differences between men and women are so great that biology could almost classify them as members of different species. Even so, apparently it is very difficult for one genre to live far from the other.

Men complain that they don’t understand what women actually want, while women accuse males of the species of inconsistency in physical and even emotional preferences. Knowing what guys are really interested in in a girl would greatly advance human evolution, contributing to world peace. Okay, maybe not that much, but if you’re also part of the female crowd that wants to understand the preferences of men who inhabit this planet, pay attention to what our interviewees say: six things men love about women.

1 – Eyes

“The eyes are the mirror of the soul”, the poet would say. They exercise a fascination over men that borders on obsession. And we are not talking about light or dark eyes, but sincere ones. “I see in the eyes what a person really thinks. Unlike the mouth, they do not deceive: they demonstrate what is really going on inside a woman”, says Dimitri, 29 years old.

“If the person is nice to you and responds positively to what you consider good, you will end up seeing expressions in them that will make them ‘beautiful’, even if, at first, this was not your impression”, says the geographer.

2 – Authenticity

Women who let themselves be seen for who they really are deserve male respect. Rodrigo, 30, says that “in a relationship, the more comfortable the two are, the more love. She doesn’t think so, but waking up all disheveled and without makeup isn’t losing the charm – the woman looks beautiful that way, too.”

For Guilherme, 22, authenticity is the most important thing in a woman’s personality. “I like the shamelessness, the lack of commitment”, he says. Dimitri agrees with this opinion: “too much freshness prevents you from getting to know the person – and I really like getting to know the person”.

3 – Intelligence or talent

For Dimitri, “whatever area it is, if there is something to admire more, besides the physical characteristics of a woman, she becomes more interesting. Whether it’s a gift, an effort to learn something, in short, I like to notice a search for improvement, both professionally and spiritually”.

Guilherme, an architecture student, says that women are a bit like music: “what I like about women is like what I like about music. I like what is different, what no one else has. I like to see her excel in some specific skill,” he says.

4 – Good mood

“Maturity comes with experiences and that counts more than the date on your ID. I love it when women allow us to be childish, in the sense of clowning around”, says Rodrigo, who is an administrator – “I’m in love with a beautiful smile and a good mood, the kind that laughs a lot with me”.

5 – Partnership

For Rodrigo, it is very important that the woman knows how to be a companion. “In a relationship, I value the kind of woman who is a friend as well as a girlfriend; the one with whom you can talk about everything and you can spend the night chatting away, without seeing the time pass”.

Dimitri agrees: “I treat as a partnership the fact that a woman understands that the couple has to have fun together, but it doesn’t have to be glued all the time. I believe that understanding some factors makes things healthier. I’m not saying that you can never be together, but that there must be the option of not being together and doing what pleases each one. There are moments for the couple and there are moments of uniqueness.”

6 – Butt

As men are, essentially, crazed males, naturally they could not fail to mention their favorite part of the female body: the butt. For Guilherme, although he loses, in importance, to authenticity and intelligence, it is also a factor taken into account by the male wing. “Authenticity, intelligence and ass, in that order, are the ingredients of an almost perfect woman, for me”, says the student.
