6 homemade skin cleansing recipes

With the use of makeup and the impurities absorbed by the skin throughout the day, it tends to get clogged pores and often even look dirty. The accumulation of these impurities, over time, in addition to making the skin ugly, can harm when doing your own makeup, leaving it looking “thick”, for example. To improve the problem, you can do a homemade skin cleanser, like one of the recipes below.

1 – Clay mask for oily skin

You will need clay and water. Mix them until you get a consistent paste that can be spread over the skin. Apply the mask on your face, leaving it on for about 15 minutes. Clay absorbs skin impurities. After 15 minutes, wash your face with running water.

2 – Corn cream for combination skin

You will need two cooked ears of corn, one egg, juice of a medium-sized lemon and a teaspoon of olive oil. Mix all the ingredients in a container and then blend them in a blender until you get a paste-like substance.

To apply, use a piece of cotton, gently rubbing the cream over the skin of the face. Let it act for an interval of ten minutes and then remove it using lukewarm water.

3 – Cleansing with yogurt for normal skin

You will need three tablespoons of yogurt and one tablespoon of oatmeal. Mix the two ingredients, applying to the skin with the help of a piece of cotton. Let it act for an average of 15 minutes and then remove the mask with running water.

4 – Honey mask for dry skin

You will need two tablespoons of honey, one tablespoon of almond oil and one tablespoon of oatmeal. Mix everything in a container, until you get a creamy paste, and apply to your face with your fingertips. Let it act for 15 minutes and then remove it using running water.

5 – Thyme steam

You will need three tablespoons of thyme and a liter of water. Boil the thyme in water for about ten minutes. Then remove the water from the fire and place your head over the steam, covering your head with a towel, so as to form a kind of hut. Do not bring your face too close to the container, to avoid burns. Keeping this safe distance, stand with your face over the steam for approximately five minutes. Then dry your face with a clean cloth. If you have blackheads, you can take advantage of the open pores to remove them carefully.

6 – Honey and carrot mask for sensitive skin

You will need two tablespoons of oatmeal, half a tablespoon of honey, a tablespoon of carrot juice and 3 tablespoons of chamomile tea. Mix all the ingredients until you get a creamy substance. Apply on the skin of the face and let the mask act for about 15 minutes. Then remove it with running water.
