We all go through adversity in our lives, so the best thing to do at these times is to seek the comfort of the Father’s lap.

Broken heart

1. Above all, guard your heart, for your whole life depends on it. Proverbs 4:23

2. Surrender your cares to the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never allow the righteous to fall. Psalms 55:22

3. He alone heals the brokenhearted and heals their wounds. Psalms 147:3

4. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the brokenhearted. Psalms 34:18

5. My body and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my inheritance forever. Psalms 73:26

Depression

Anxiety

Find a purpose in your life

25. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; acknowledge the Lord in all his ways, and he will make his paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

26. You didn’t choose me, but I chose them to go and bear fruitfruit that remains, so that the Father may grant you whatever you ask in my name. John 15:16

27. We know that God works in all things for the sake of those who love himof those who were called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

Loneliness

32. But I am not alone, for my Father is with me. John 16:32

33. Even if my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will welcome me. Psalms 27:10

discouragement

34. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, so they can resist in the evil day and remain steadfastafter they have done everything. Ephesians 6:13

35. Let not my enemy rejoice in my misfortune. Though I fell, I will get up. Though I’m living in darkness, the Lord will be my light. Micah 7:8

36. But God demonstrates his love for us: Christ died on our behalf while we were still sinners. Romans 5:8

37. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38,39

38. Keep yourselves free from the love of money and be content with what you have, for God himself said: “I will never leave you, I will never forsake you”. Hebrews 13:5

39. He will deliver you from the snare of the hunter and from the deadly poison. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be his protective shield.

You will trample the lion and the snake; will trample the mighty lion and the serpent. “Because he loves me, I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he knows my name. He will cry to me, and I will answer him, and in adversity I will be with him; I will free him and cover him with honor. Long life I will give you, and I will show you my salvation.” Psalm 91

40. God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in adversity. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth trembles and the mountains sink into the heart of the sea, though its turbulent waters roar and the mountains are shaken by its fury. Psalms 46:1-3

41. I lift my eyes to the mountains and ask: Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, who made the heavens and the earth. He will not let you stumble; your protector will keep alert, yes, the protector of Israel will not sleep, he is always alert!

The Lord is your protector; as a shadow that protects you, he is on your right. By day the sun will not hurt you, nor the moon by night. The Lord will protect him from all evil, he will protect his life. The Lord will protect your departure and his arrival, from now and forever. Psalm 121
