3 girls who battled cancer pose for the winning photo

When photographers Lora Scantling and Christy Goodger took this photo in 2014, they couldn’t imagine it would be one of the biggest viral hits in the fight against cancer🇧🇷

“Sometimes strength comes from knowing you are not alone.”

Today, two years after the first photo, the three girls Rheann Franklin (8), Ainsley Peters (6) and Rylie Hughey (5) photographed the same pose, but with different news: all are in remission and/or curedaccording to Today.com.

Ainsley still has monthly blood tests, but she’s enjoying springtime. Rylie is monitored every 3 months, but she is getting stronger. And don’t be fooled by Rheann’s little eyes! Hair loss and squinting eyes were the only sequels left by the tumor in the head region. She is an active 8 year old girl who loves to ride her bike.
