We spend a good part of our lives at school, so it’s not surprising that almost everyone has many funny memories of that time. And some of these stories would never have happened if it weren’t for the teachers.

Our teacher arrived and told the startled students, “Today we are going to talk about inertia!” I will remember this for the rest of my life…

At school, the Road Safety teacher was so astute that he once said, “Anyone I didn’t catch cheating on the test, bring it to me and I’ll give you a better grade.” Almost the entire class hurried to return the sheets. He chose the most beautiful and well-kept one, gave its owner an ‘Excellent’ and suspended the rest.

I remember one teacher very well because when her cat got older, nobody got bad grades. Nobody. Thanks to your pet for living at the time when I was studying.

The teacher once told us that crows rush towards everything that shines and that our eyes can also shine on certain occasions. Years have passed since then and I still close my eyes when I pass by these birds.

When I was a child, I had a language teacher who everyone feared, both the students and the other teachers. Her classes were very scary and at the same time funny: without ever using a single bad word, she could irrevocably put a person in her place. So: an unhappy child was sitting biting his nails during class (probably gripped by fear). She, realizing the weakness of the student, came close to him by chance and then, suddenly, put her foot on his desk and shouted: “BITE!”.

At school, the history teacher started with a new lesson: “Boys, all human beings evolved from apes… Mother of God!”, and made the sign of the cross. So he continued with the subject.
