15 Fruits That Don’t Look Like Mother Nature

The plant world is full of surprises. There are more fruits than you can find in supermarkets, and it is in the most distant places where all this exotic variety is hidden. While some of these foods bear a striking resemblance to those we usually eat, others do not seem to be part of the plant kingdom of this world because of their strange shapes and mixtures of colors.

1. Banana “Blue Java”

This blue banana can be found in Southeast Asia and Northern Australia, is tolerant of low temperatures and can be grown almost anywhere. It grows in regions like California or Hawaii, and its blue color is lost as the banana ripens. It can be eaten raw or cooked and is famous for its delicious vanilla ice cream flavor.
