11 glass cake recipes to prepare and impress everyone

Glass cake, also known as mirror cake, has a brilliant look and, despite not being one of the simplest recipes, it is worth all the effort.

1. Chocolate glass cake

For a good start, a chocolate cake. You can use ready-made preparation for the dough, speeding up the process. The filling is more elaborate: a layer of chocolate ganache and a layer of bacuri pulp (which you can replace with cupuaçu or other sour fruit). The mirrored coating contains sugar, corn glucose, water, unflavored gelatin, condensed milk and chocolate.

2. Colored glass cake

Here, to make the mirror frosting, you will first need to cover the cake with a very smooth layer of whipped cream and freeze it for at least 2 hours. For the topping, you will need to hydrate the gelatin and bring the sugar, water, condensed milk and white glucose to a boil. Then, just add the unflavored gelatin, chocolate and coloring. Sift the still warm syrup and then cover your frozen cake.
