11 Fake and Fun Products Created by Famous Brands for April Fools’ Day

It’s okay that there are still a few weeks left for April Fools’ Day, but it’s always good to keep in mind that anyone can be the victim of a “prank” on April 1st, even of some frame thought up by the next of kin. And as if that weren’t enough, it seems that we can’t even trust big, well-known brands, as the marketing world has also decided to create bizarre situations just to have fun with their customers’ faces.

We, from incredible.club, we highly value good humor. And that’s why we’ve put together 11 fictional products created especially for April Fools’ Day. Some of them are so unique that they could actually exist!

1. Burger King individual fries

“Individual french fries”

Just as there are people who are addicted to candies and sweets, there may be someone willing to buy a single potato chip instead of a bonbon. With packaging reminiscent of a candy and with a careful presentation of the product, the individual potato chips could even be a success in sales, despite the idea being too crazy to be real. And let’s be honest: no one can eat just one french fry. They are addictive!

2. Hamburger flavored toothpaste

Why do toothpastes always have the same bland minty taste? That was certainly the question that led Burger King to create a commercial for toothpaste that tasted like a Whopper, promising that brushing your teeth with the product would be as tasty as the sandwich that inspires it. And to complete, to make the moment even more unforgettable, the company recommends rinsing your mouth with a glass of soda.

3. Avocado Coke

Yes, Coca-Cola is a company known for innovation, but an avocado-flavored drink? What would something like that taste like? It certainly wouldn’t be sweet. And as if that were not enough, the company published the advertising piece with a sentence stating that the dream of many of its consumers had come true: “You dreamed it, and we made it come true: Coca-Cola with avocado flavor”. However, in the face of questions from so many users of social networks, who wanted to know if that was an April Fools joke, the official profile replied: “Well, it is not a Thanksgiving greeting”. A creative way of admitting without confessing anything. Apparently, the idea was not a bad one, as many internet users seemed willing to try the weird product. Now, we’ll have to live forever with the mystery: what would an avocado Coke taste like?

Ideal to eat alone or with a friend. Price? Priceless!” Of course not, because it’s just a joke. But we have to admit: it’s a shame it’s not real, because it looks practical and delicious!

5. Organization of pet weddings, from pet food manufacturer Petco

Planning a wedding is no easy task for individuals of any kind. Therefore, the company Petco, specializing in the sale of food and accessories for pets, decided to “expand its business” by offering a service for organizing canine weddings. Everything is guaranteed for that special day: event planning by animal experts, accessories, make-up session, table etiquette training and facials. With such a complete package, many dog owners would certainly be interested, but it was just a joke.

6. Miz Mooz shoes for selfies

“No matter where you go, your camera will always be ready,” read the slogan of the supposed selfie shoe commercial. With a video, the brand presented the functionality of the shoe, which would have a square opening at the tip to place the cell phone. To take a selfie, just raise your leg. Very creative, but the product would certainly only be a hit with very elastic people, capable of lifting their leg and still posing at the same time. There was no shortage of curious people to test the launch, which if it really existed, would cost 199 dollars (about 860 reais).

8. Rosetta Stone Klingon Dictionary

When language teaching software Rosetta Stone announced that it would be releasing a Klingon dictionary to the public, many Klingon fans Star Trek showed real interest in purchasing the product. 9. Cheesecake Nachos from The Cheesecake Factory

Cheesecake is delicious, and nachos too… but both things together? No, no, thank you very much. The most interesting thing about this case is that, when it came to describing the fake product, the company performed the task with such mastery that it ended up looking delicious: “We present Nacho Cheesecake. A feast of sweet and savory flavors for your taste buds. The original cheesecake was topped off with sour cream, jalapeno, and nacho cheese.
