10 Ways to get rid of sagging skin on face and neck

According to statistics published by the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, 17 million people used Botox to tighten and firm their saggy skin in 2017, both on their face and neck. While botulinum toxin may seem like the easiest way out, especially when you are financially able, there are many natural ways that are not widely known but that can help get rid of sagging skin. They take time, dedication and sacrifice, but when you try these tips, you will also improve your overall health.

The Incredible.club found 10 natural ways to eliminate sagging skin at any age and prevent it in the future, without resorting to cosmetic surgery or needles.

1. Limit your sugar intake

We continue to learn more and more about the negative effects sugar has on our health in general, and when it comes to our skin, it does more harm than good. Regular consumption of sugar starts a process in our digestive system called glycation, which results in PGA (advanced glycation products). These PGAs break down the collagen your body makes (which is the protein that keeps the skin firm) even faster than it should and prevents it from playing as often as needed.

This makes the skin sagging and wrinkles appear. When you eliminate sugar, Collagen production is rebalanced, leaving the skin and body strong and hydrated.

The maximum amount of sugar your body can consume without harming your health is 6 teaspoons a day. Keep in mind that almost every food we eat can contain sugar, so it’s important to avoid it in tea or coffee in the morning.

2. Try Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is an excellent moisturizer. Due to its consistency, when applied to the skin it fills the pores and wrinkles that may start to appear, keeping the skin soft and hydrated.

In addition, the fatty acids present in coconut oil can penetrate the skin due to its low molecular weight, unlike all water-based moisturizers, and can protect the skin’s natural proteins. According to a study conducted by the US National Institute of Health, coconut oil can effectively treat dry skin, prevent sagging skin, and eliminate wrinkles.

You can apply a small amount of coconut oil to the skin in the morning, and double the amount at night before going to bed. It is important to look for an organic coconut oil that has not been treated in any way! Don’t forget to apply to the neck as well, as we sometimes neglect this area when it comes to hydration.

3. Dual antioxidants

The skin is the largest organ in the human body and is most exposed to oxidation, which means she is damaged day by day🇧🇷 Foods rich in antioxidants can help fight the damage that oxidative stress does to your skin.

Even though you can get a moisturizer that is supposed to be rich in antioxidants and that can help revitalize your skin, When it comes to antioxidants, the best work starts from within. Instead of spending a large amount of money on an expensive moisturizer, start eating foods that return your skin to normal and reduce any signs of aging.

Try to eat plenty of blueberries, grapes, strawberries, blackberries, red beans, spinach and kale.

4. Wash your face

We are all guilty of sleeping in makeup as we were too tired or too lazy to remove it. But it’s important to take a few more minutes in the morning and evening to wash your face, especially when it comes to removing makeup. When applied to the skin, it is slowly absorbed through the pores. The thing is, almost all makeup products contain harsh chemicals, which contribute to the oxidative stress that skin cells experience on a daily basis.

It’s important to use a water-based skin cleanser and then add some cold water on top to help close the pores. Don’t use a facial scrub at night, just use this type of treatment once or twice a week to avoid skin irritation. Apply some coconut oil as a moisturizer after cleansing your face.

5. Beta carotene and vitamin A

According to a recent study conducted at the National Institute of Health, a combination of beta-carotene, which is present in many foods, and vitamin A, can prevent and repair skin aging🇧🇷 That’s why we often see it as a main ingredient in many anti-aging moisturizers and sunscreens. Beta-carotene has been proven to prevent the sun’s ultraviolet light from damaging and aging the skin, while vitamin A stimulates the production of collagen and elastic fibers in the skin🇧🇷

Both beta-carotene and vitamin A are present in foods like carrots, sweet potatoes, kale, spinach, cantaloupe and apricots. The recommended daily amount of vitamin A and beta-carotene is 30 milligrams.

6. Apply cucumber juice

As we age, skin components (such as collagen, which promotes firmness, and elastin, which provides elasticity) produce 1% less each year after age 20. Then, the skin starts to thin and slowly sag in areas like the face, neck, and chest. Therefore, it is important to take care of these areas more often than other parts of the body with regular masks.

Baking soda is a natural ingredient used to exfoliate the skin and get rid of dead skin cells, Shrink pores and promote collagen production when massaging the skin. Coconut oil, as explained earlier, is excellent for hydrating the skin, penetrating and treating wrinkles or fine lines, and preventing wrinkles that appear over time.

Rennes Sciences et Technologie Agocampu Research Center in France, it has been shown that egg whites reduce wrinkles and fine lines of expression and reverse sagging skin. During the research, the scientists collected eggs from chickens and separated the ingredients contained in the whites. Therefore, found 69 key proteins that revitalize and firm the skin when applied topically.

Honey is rich in antioxidants, which can remove dirt and penetrate the skin. In addition, it is hygroscopic, like glycerin, which means that it moisturizes the skin and absorbs water from the environment. These ingredients combine to make a powerful skin treatment.

Like the leg muscles, which can respond to exercise by acquiring firmness and tone, it’s the same with the facial muscles. They form a solid foundation for the
skin. So when they lose their toning, it starts to fall off. The theory behind facial exercises
