But designers don’t stop coming up with new ideas, and today the trend simply suggests getting rid of them. The wall can join the floor or, as it were, hover over it.

It seems not so long ago that people placed LED lighting around the entire perimeter of the ceiling, around the headboard of the bed, or decorated the arches of doorways. But that fad is in the past. LEDs are now used for simple decorations, such as motivational sayings, or as a minimalist accent on a countertop.

A batmobile bed was never a good idea, but it is present in many children’s bedrooms. It does not fit well with the rest of the furniture, quickly loses relevance and takes up a lot of space. A children’s room is considered a multi-space, as it is where the child plays, studies and rests. Therefore, it is better to opt for versatile solutions, for example, a bunk bed with space underneath for a desk or recreation area.
