Director of X-Men 3: The Last Stand, Brett Ratner, invited Hugh Jackman to his home with the excuse of showing a collection of paintings that supposedly cost millions of dollars. Hugh and the director rushed out of the house and the firefighters quickly began supposedly putting out the fire, when in fact they were setting off artificial explosions.

A fake fireman, who would have determined the cause of the fire, approached Hugh and said that it was an intentional fire. Since there was no one there but the actor and the owner, the latter was not going to set his own house on fire, so Hugh took all the blame. The actor was very scared, but he couldn’t hold back the laughter when he learned that it was all a joke.
